Finally Some Progress

Today I'm 38 weeks pregnant. WOW!! I honestly can't believe it. I feel like this pregnancy has gone by so fast, except when I think back and remember that I found out I was pregnant in July of last year just a couple days before Sterling's 24th birthday! Now I'm 12 days away from my due date. I have felt amazing these past couple of days, even with working as much as I have been it's seriously been FABULOUS! This past week has been jam packed with lots of things to do. First, I have been needing to go to the eye doctor, for who knows how long, and I finally made an appointment because I was a little nervous that maybe something would happen with my contacts and I only had one pair. I first have to say that I hate going to the eye doctor, I have to be the most inpatient person in the whole world because I can't stand waiting. After 3 hours at the eye doctor I was finally able to cross "get new contacts" off my list of Things to do before Baby comes. One of my favorite things I was able to do last week was spend some much need time with some of my very best friends. The reason for our get together was for Shelby, who is getting married next month. We all went over to Val's house and Val cooked us a fabulous spaghetti dinner. We ate and gossiped all night. I know I say this a lot but I feel so very lucky to have these ladies in my life. We have been friends since grade school and we are all so different from one another but yet we can all get along and enjoy each other company. Also this past weekend my wonderful Mother and sisters' hosted my very last baby shower for all my extended family. Its was so nice and I received a lot of gifts from my family. The food we had was amazing too. My Mom served sandwiches, salads, cheesecake, and my very favorite SLUSH. My cute little nieces "helped" me out with opening all my gifts. I had to keep telling Izzy and Alyssa to slow down and wait for me to open my gift before they start opening the next one. After my shower I spent some time with my favorite person, my DAD. We went to pick me out a dresser for the baby's room. It's so nice to spend time driving around and talking with my Dad. We finally found a dresser and my Dad and Ster got it all set up for me. The baby's nursery is finally all coming together. My " To Do Before the Baby Comes" list is slowing getting everything checked off. Ster and I spent all day Sunday getting things ready. Ster assembled the bouncer and the swing and I cleaned and organized the nursery. After that we took all the gifts that needed to be returned back and then enjoyed a nice dinner at my mother-in-laws. Its all coming together and I'm starting to get so excited and nervous!!Which brings us to today. I went to my weekly doctor's appointment and to my surprised I was dilated to a 2 and 80% thinned out. WOW!! The doctor said it could be any day! I only ask that I have this child in March and the doctor promised me that this baby boy will be arriving in March! I can't hardly wait. I have such mixed feelings about having this baby. I have to admit that I have kind of liked being pregnant, not that I would want to be pregnant all the time, but I feel like people make it out to be so awful. I think its all your attitude. I for sure have had my fair share of bad and very long days but at the end of it all you get to be a Mom and I'm not sure how that's going to feel but I have heard its an amazing feeling to be a mother. I can't wait for the next chapter in mine and Sterling's life. It's going to be a wild and exciting time, we will have our ups and downs but I know we will always be happy. Hopefully my next post will be my labor story and if its not then that's ok too!!

Full Term

Yep, that's right as of today, I'm officially full term. It's weird that at only 37 weeks you are considered full term and if my water broke or I started going into labor my doctor wouldn't stop it for happening. I'm so excited and nervous and overwhelmed! YIKES! Last week I started seeing the doctor once a week. When I went last week I was 60% thinned out and not dilated at all. I have to be honest I had mixed feelings when the doctor told me that I wasn't dilated. I was happy because last week would have been too early for our little guy and also because I have clients booked until the 20th of March. My actually due date isn't until the 28th of March but for some reason I think I will go early. (Unless I just jinxed myself and now I will probably go over due). I was also sad because I really can't wait to meet him and see who he looks like. These past couple of weeks have been a little harder than the first 7 1/2 months. I have had really swollen feet and hands and I can't sleep very well, and I have to get out of bed a couple times each night just to go to the bathroom. I still have zero energy! Which is just fine cause Sterling has been amazing! He has helped me out a lot with getting things ready for this baby. I just leave him a list of things I need help with and he gets everything done! The nursery is almost ready. This past week Sterling's Mom bought the bedding for the nursery, Sterling assembled the car seat and stroller, put up new blinds, and hung a picture for me. I'm just waiting on my parents to get the dresser, then we will be all ready! At least I hope. I have one more last baby shower this weekend that my Mom and sisters' are hosting for me. I'm pretty excited to see my extended family. After this weekend we can relax and wait for baby Headrick to make his long awaited appearance! I guess I really can't say long awaited because when I think back over the last 8 months it really has gone by pretty fast for me. I think it helped being pregnant during the holidays, plus Grandma Anderson took me to Disneyland, and then Ster and I went to Vegas, and on top of it all I'm still to this day working two jobs, I guess you can say I've been pretty busy and it has for sure help.

Getting Ready for Baby

Gosh, there is so much to do in order to get ready for this little guy. Not only do I have a lot to do, but I also feel like I should work as much as possible. I would like to have “enough” money saved in the bank while I’m on maternity leave. Can you really ever have “enough” saved?! Sterling has been really busy getting things ready for baby. After a couple trips back and forth (we locked ourselves out), Ster finally had the extra bedroom cleaned out and the crib all set up. I have to say I was pretty impressed with Ster as I watched him assemble the crib. He put that thing together so fast! It’s weird to look in that room now and instead of seeing Sterling’s hunting stuff I see a baby crib. Oh BOY! We still have so much to do. Our “to do” list on our fridge is getting longer and longer, thanks to me.
Last weekend my sister-in-law, Becky had a baby shower for me. It was so nice. I have to admit I kind of hate being in the spot light (I know you’re surprised). It’s hard when you have all your favorite people around you and you want to make sure to talk to everyone and thank everyone. Becky made me this really cute blanket. I love homemade blankets the very best. BryAnn also made me some blankets and burping cloths. I really need to learn how to make blankets. I also got a ton of other great gifts. It’s hard to tell what I’m really going to need. I noticed this when I was registering. How the heck is a new Mom suppose to know what her baby is going to need? Oh well. I guess you live and learn. I’m so thankful for all of my friends. I was so excited to see all of them at my shower. We don’t seem to get together enough anymore. It’s weird to think how long I have known these girls and how much we have all grown up. I feel so blessed to have amazing friends in my life.
I’m now 33 weeks pregnant. WOW! I’m getting pretty close. I have felt great up until about a week ago. I’ve recently started to feel really big and not comfy any more. I have a really hard time sleeping at night. I also seem to be experiencing Braxton-hicks. Its funny cause the first part of my pregnancy I felt great and really all the way up until this last week. I’m pretty sure it’s because my body is telling me to SLOW DOWN. I’m still working both jobs and I have to admit if I still keep feeling this way I will have to cut down on work. SCARY! Ster has been so supportive during my pregnancy, yes he does like to joke about my belly and give me a hard time, but he always makes sure I’m as comfy as I can be and that I’m feeling okay. He is going to be such a great Dad, I just can’t wait.
Last Sunday, Becky and Austin blessing their cute little twin girls. Austin and Becky’s Dad did such a great job on the blessings, and the girls looked so cute. The next baby blessing we will attend will be for our son. WEIRD!

Vegas, Garth Brooks, and 32 Weeks

Two weeks ago, Ster and I along with our two best friends, Heather and Aaron, took a weekend trip to Las Vegas. We had so much fun. The reason for the vacation was first because we bought tickets to Garth Brooks and second it would be the last trip Ster and I would go on for a while. Our vacation didn't start out as planned though. First our flight was delayed, due to the weather, so we were stuck at the Salt Lake Airport for 6 hours. Heather and I made the best out of it while Ster and Aaron were a little bit more annoyed. It was funny because Aaron kept saying in this amount of time we could have drove to Vegas, which is true, but flying is so much easier. When we finally arrived in Vegas it was late and we were hungry. We stayed at the Mirage and the rooms were fabulous. We had so much fun there. Ster met Antonio Gates (he's probably one of the best tight ends in the NFL according to Ster.) My favorite part of our vacation was seeing Garth Brooks play live. He probably my favorite country singer ever!! He was amazing, Trisha Yearwood even came out and sang with him. The concert was worth every single penny I spent. I only wish Ster would have won so we could have had some extra money.Being Pregnant in Vegas was not so much fun though. I got tired really early, my feet hurt, and we had to make sure to eat all three meal so I wouldn't get sick. All in all though I'm so glad we went. It was nice to spend 4 days with just Ster. We really needed that time together away from our jobs.
Only 8 weeks left until we get to finally meet our son. I'm so excited! I have been feeling great for the most part. Recently, I have been feeling extra tired. I have had a hard time waking up in the morning and even harder time getting out of our bed. No new cravings to report, actually nothing really sounds good to me anymore but I know I need to eat. Its really funny cause I'll be so hungry I feel like I could eat a whole house and then I start eating and I'm full after a couple of bits. Being pregnant is so weird. Baby Headrick is still really active. I can't wait to see him. I wonder all the time if he will have red hair or if he will look more like Ster than me. Either way his due date is approaching faster and faster, and we still don't have a name yet. After our vacation to Vegas Ster and I have a lot to do in order to get things ready for Baby Headrick.
My Aunt Debbie and Uncle Brent were so nice to give us their crib. Eli barley slept in there and it looks brand new! Ster cleaned out all his hunting stuff and got the room all cleaned out and ready for the new crib. He assembled that crib so fast, its weird looking into that room and seeing a crib all set up. I can't wait to have my son in there too. We still have a long list of things to do and I hope I have enough time. I just hope these next 8 weeks treat me good.

30 Weeks

I'm now officially 30 weeks pregnant. WOW! I've really made some progress. I have to say that I feel pretty lucky to have been feeling so great. My only complaint is, as of right now, I have zero energy! Which is really hard for me. I have a list of things I want to do before this little guy gets here and no motivation to do it. I find myself writing lists and thinking of all the things I want to do and then when it finally comes down to actually doing the tasks I find myself on the couch watching TV. This is really unlike me. I usually can be motivated really easy. I guess I will just enjoy myself and take this time to RELAX because I know when this little guy gets here there will be no time for relaxation. Sterling has been a lot of fun during this pregnancy, well he is actually fun all the time but we can't tell him that, it would make his head really BIG. He knows how to make me laugh even when I'm so tired I can barley keep my eyes open. Not only is he my favorite entertainment but he is also very supportive. He is so excited to be a Dad and I know he will be the best Dad ever to our son. I can't wait to see his face when the doctor hands our son over to him. I couldn't picture going through this pregnancy without Sterling. Which brings me to the topic of Baby Headrick. He is just growing and growing, well at least I hope cause I'm growing and growing. He is the most active at night and he seems to favor my right side. I really want to go to fetal photo so I can see what he is doing in there. He still really loves any hot drink (i.e. hot chocolate or chai tea), and also still loves coke, my Grandpa Burnside would have been so proud because he loved coke too. Sterling was finally able to feel Baby Headrick a couple weeks ago while we were laying in bed, which was pretty neat for Ster. I love waking up every morning and feeling him kick. I know I will really miss this feeling once he is finally here. Baby Headrick still has no name. His Mom and Dad can't agree on one yet and are still stuck between Cade and Nash. Cade being Dad's pick and Nash being Mom's pick. Oh well, I guess we will just have to see his face and decide then if he looks like a Cade or a Nash.
For the past week or so I have been making Sterling a list of things to do before the baby gets here. Some of the items on the list are; buy a new washer ( I know what you are thinking.... FUN, right), clean out the baby's rooms so we can move all the new stuff in, and etc. So after our trip to Vegas this weekend we will start working on our to do list.

13 Weeks and Counting......

Oh, the joys of being prego! Let me start out by saying that most people have the worst "morning sickness", myself on the other hand does not get morning sickness. I have felt pretty good for the most part. I only have a couple complaints about being pregnant.

First, I hate that I'm always and I mean always tired. No matter what time of the day it is I find myself nodding off. This part of being pregnant is probably the hardest, well as of now. The reason why this is so hard for me is because I love to work and push myself as far as I can. I like working all day at Cyprus CU and I Love doing hair at night. My crazy schedule has unfortunately cause a lot of problems with this pregnancy. Most of the time when I finally do get home at night I get in the bath and then get into bed and this is where the problems start I usually fall right asleep and almost every time I can't even remember getting into bed. I know, my doctor already told me, I need to change my crazy life schedule and I will but its hard when you love what you do so much!

My second complaint about being knocked up is the gosh dang heart burn. I have always heard my Dad and Ster talk about what awful heart burn they have but I have not experience it myself. For those of you out there that have never had heart burn before you are such lucky people and have probably never been pregnant. I find myself everyday making sure that before I eat anything I take a heart burn pill. I guess I shouldn't really be complaining because compared to most pregnant women I think I have it pretty easy.

My third and last complaint for the day about being "With Child", can I just say first that blogging right now is totally helping me feel about better, is feeling blotted 100% of the time. It seriously doesn't matter what I eat and even if I do or don't over eat. After every meal I feel like my stomach is going to bust open and my pants are going to split down the middle. I'm currently 13 weeks along and I'm at that stage where unless I'm wearing a really tight shirt (which at this point you will not catch me dead in) you can't tell I'm pregnant I just look and for sure feel FAT!!!! This far into my pregnancy I haven't craved anything. I did at first want cheese burgers but that's pretty normal for me. Food still sounds fabulous to me but it for sure doesn't taste the same. For example my most favorite place is the Oyster bar. Well the food doesn't taste like I remember and I can't finish a whole meal anymore, probably good for my weight gain that I don't finish meals.

This past week Ster and I celebrated our 2nd wedding anniversary. To kick off this wonderful day we both took that day of work and went to JoAnn's Kitchen for breakfast and it was fabulous! After breakfast we went out to an early movie and then to finish the night dinner at the Oyster bar. I'm so lucky to have met Ster. Two years has gone by so fast and I'm so happy in our marriage. Ster is the funniest guy ever. He makes me laugh even when I'm really upset. He works so hard at his job, most days I wonder how the heck he goes all day working outside in the heat and then in the cold. I'm so excited to see what a wonderful Dad he is going to be for our baby. I just keep picturing how he is going to be so cute with our child. I'm one lucky girl and Mom to be!
About a week ago I had my 1st official doctors appointment as a mom to be. The reason why I say "1st official" is because Dr. Later was so nice to let Ster and I meet him at the hospital one Sunday morning when I was only 6 weeks along so we could see what was cookin' inside. As of right now I'm 13 weeks. Anyway, I was really nervous about going to my appointment because I knew that I would have to get blood work done and I always pass out when I get my blood drawn.

My 1st appointment when a little like this. Ster and I drove up separately because right after we both when to work. On my way to my appointment, which is at Alta View hospital, we got stuck in the morning traffic and because I was already so nervous about getting my blood drawn I started to stress a lot more. We finally made it to the doctors office and started filling out all the paper work. Jeez, they sure do ask some weird questions on those forms. When we met with Dr. Later, which is also a very good family friend, we were able to do another ultrasound. It was so neat to see how much baby Headrick has already grown since we saw it last. I started laughing during the ultra sound cause I knew I was about to cry and I didn't want to cry in front of Ster and the Doctor. After the ultra sound I had to get my blood work done. Boy, was I so nervous. I told the nurse that I usually pass out when I get my blood drawn so I needed to lay down, as she was getting everything ready I just laid there scared!! The nurse was trying to make small talk with me to get my mind off what she was about to do. She ask me to spell my last name and I was so nervous I couldn't spell it for her. Ster just laughed. I had to say that when it was all done I felt only a little pinch and I didn't get sick at all. My nurse was the very best and I hope she can always do my blood work.

Being pregnant is so weird. You really do feel like a crazy person. Your moods go up and down like your on a crazy roller coaster and your body starts changing so fast. I have felt so lucky because thus far I have felt pretty good. Besides the fact that I feel tired all the time and my body physically can't work as much as I would like it to. I can't wait to be a Mom and bring this new life into this world. Ster will be such a great Dad, I can already tell and sometimes he is more excited than I am, mostly on the days that I'm not feeling the best. So my next Doctors visit is on October 3rd, which is a week before Bobby gets home from his mission! YAY! I can't wait to see him again.

Summer 2009

It has been such a long time since I've updated my blog and "oh my" so much has happened to the Headrick's in such a short amount of time. First, I started my own little business along with two of my friends. The name of the business is Barlume, which in Italian means GLIMMER. It was perfect because we do glitter toe parties. I know that sounds really weird but its the new trend this past summer and all through the summer we were booked with parties almost every night. So on top of having glitter toe parties I was also still working at the credit union and also doing hair. My life was so busy and stressful, poor Ster would have to go home to an empty condo every night. Which brings me to my next subject our condo.

Nope, still have not manage to sell our cute condo in Herriman yet. We have had it for sale for so long I'm beginning to think we are stuck there. Not to worry though we have had many neighbors sell their condos so I know its possible. We are still doing the for sale by owner deal and I think we will have to find an agent once the housing market goes up again. Cross your fingers in will soon!!!

In August Sterling tried to give me a heart attacking by driving in the South Jordan Demolition Derby. I was so nervous and excited for him. Jiffy Lube provided the truck, yep that's right he drove a truck YIKES. The derby turned out perfect for me cause he only had one really hard head on collusion and then we was stuck on a dirt bank. I think Ster was a little disappointed and hoped that he could have done more damage but at least he didn't get hurt too bad. Just some minor cuts and he knee is still hurting and it's September.

Our Summer has been non stop busy busy we manage to go camping a couple times with our good friends Heather and Aaron. We been to George Strait, Toby Keith, and this weekend Brad Paisley. We celebrated Sterling's 24th birthday by going to Wendover to do what Ster loves.... Gambling. But I will have to say that the biggest summer event happened one Sunday morning, July 19th to be exact. I woke up after along weekend of fun and decide, for no good reason, to take a pregnancy test. So while Ster was still laying in bed I took the test and to my surprised the test said, YES. I went into our bed room and told Ster and he was a little surprised and really didn't know what to say. I was in complete shock. In March 2010 the Headricks will be welcoming their first baby!

Do you ever sometimes feel like life is moving way too fast? I do. The past month has come and gone so fast. I can't keep up with all the events that are going on in my life. I have sat at my computer many times this past month and thought really hard about up dating my blog and then I just get lost in other people blogs. So today is the day to FINALLY update this blog of mine and make it more useful.

The townhouse is still on the market. I have felt a little bit of stress from this because my sister, Kim put her townhouse on the market about the same time as me and guess what she is now is a beautiful new house in Riverton. WTH!!! Well lets talk about the differences between hers and mine. She had a real-estate agent first off and second her townhouse was location right off 10400 south a Bangerter in South Jordan, way better than mine which is "clear" up in Herriman. Anyway, I just keep reminded myself that everything happens for a reason and we are in no hurry to sell. I just really want my own house with my own backyard and my own two car garage and horse property for my Dad. Is that really asking too much?? All in good time I guess.

So I guess this would be a good time to brag about my wonderful husband. Ster is such a hard worker. This year he received a vacation bonus from Jiffy Lube for having a million dollar store last year. YAY for my hubby!! His vacations bonus was put to good use, well I guess. We had to use some of the money on our cars to do some maintenance work. Oh well. The rest in all LOCK UP from me! I had to put in away in a whole other Credit Union and in a CD so I couldn't get my hands on it. Not only did Sterling get that awesome bonus in March he got the biggest bonus in the company!! I am so proud of him. I know it makes all the long days worth it to him.

As for my jobs, well the salon is still the same. Same old drama. Nothing has changed since December. Its really hard sometime because I truly love doing hair, but as far as working with a bunch of crazy women all day. NO THANK YOU!! I'm so lucky to have Cyprus CU still. Cyprus has been busy lately which is surprising since nobody is really spending money right now. This pass week I was able to do some "out of town" work with my boss and friend, Jenny. We went down to sunny St. George. We visited with some of our southern Utah dealers and helped with a golf tournament. It was a blast. After that Ster and I went to try our luck in Mesquite. Ster was really lucky and won money which we will be using some to do our wedding album. Yep that's right, I still do not have one after almost 2 years. I, on the other hand was not so lucky in Mesquite, I was sick with food poisoning the whole time. Needless to say the ride home on Friday was the worst ever. I had to make Ster pull over a bunch of times to let me throw up!! YUCK!!!

Taggart Sackett was finally born on March 28th! I was so excited for Julie and Grant. He is the cutest baby ever. Its so unreal how fast your life can go by. I still think of Julie and I as kids. Speaking of Julie today is her 23rd birthday!! Happy Birthday old friend!!! Tonight is full of fun and I'm even introducing Mr. and Mrs. Sackett to my favorite place THE OYSTER BAR!!! YAY!

Speaking of birthdays mine was last week. Ster was so cute about my birthday. I could tell he was getting a little bugged with the fact that I didn't know what I wanted for my birthday. He kept asking and asking and then I finally said I just want clothes. Oh and a WII!! My birthday week started out wonderful. My mother-in-law took us to my favorite place the Oyster bar and I also found out that my Sis in law Becky is having TWINS!! Can you believe it! CRAZY AND SO EXCITING!!! My Mother-in-law framed a picture for my house I forgot about and also got me a WII!! YAY!!! Becky and Austin gave me Mario Kart for the Wii! I feel like a kid again!! On Tuesday, Ster sent me the prettiest flowers. (I love it when he does that. )His Dad and His Dad's wife stopped by my work to wish me a Happy Birthday and gave my a wonderful card and some spending cash!! Just what I like. That night Ster and I went to Texas Roadhouse for dinner and then had ice cream with Becky, Austin, and Brody! I feel so lucky to be close to my in laws. The partying didn't stop on my birthday though. That weekend Ster set up this party for me at Keys On Main, which if you don't know is a little piano bar in Salt Lake! It was so much fun! My sisters both came!!! Jennie even did this really cute cake for me. She is always so thoughtful, and really knows how to make you feel special. A lot of my friends came and it was a wonderful night.
Now I think I'm caught up a little on my blogging! I'm going to try to do better, Promise!!

MOVIN' On UP!!!

It's official we are selling our Herriman townhouse. Ster and I have been thinking about it for a while and have finally decided that it's time to move. We love our townhouse and it's location but with the prices of homes these days it makes more sense to get into a house with a yard. We are also selling it ourselves. We have had a couple calls and even have someone come and look at it. If you know any interest in a townhouse in Herriman let me know. A little information about it; it was built in 2006, it's 1134 square feet. It's has 2 bedrooms and 1 1/2 baths, and a walkout basement. It's located right off the main road in Herriman (Rosecrest) and we have no units behind us. It has a beautiful view of the valley. Please let me know if you know anyone looking. Here are some pictures of it.

Bentlee!!

Bentlee is a Momma's girl!
sleeping with Ster!
6 weeks old

I never in my life would have guessed that one day I would have my own little dog that I would LOVE so much. Every time I would hear someone talk about their pets as if they were people I would think they were so weird and I never understood, well that was until I adopted Bentlee last year. I had been bugging Ster about getting a dog for a couple of month and he would say, No. Well I didn't like that answer so I would send him text message pictures of cute little dogs and I would also be on KSL looking and calling on these dogs. I really wanted one. Ster finally agreed that I could get a dog but I had to save my own money so I sold my salon chair and took that money and found Bentlee. I had been looking on KSL and calling around and I finally found someone that I wanted to buy from. The breeder was located in Clinton and so one Sunday I drove up there picked out Bentlee and 3 weeks later my Dad and I drove up to get the little puppy. Bentlee has been so fun. Its weird the connection that you can have with a dog. Ster and I have just fallen in love with her. I know this is bad but she even sleeps in our bed with us. She is a perfect house dog and she doesn't shed. She loves playing with my Dad's labs. I'm so glad that we got her and I can't wait until I can talk Ster into another cute friend for Bentlee. What do you think about the name JAG??

Can't Wait For Baby Tag!!

I have been meaning to blog about this for a couple weeks, but with Valentines day and two jobs I haven't found the time. A couple weekends ago I (along with help from Shelby and Val) hosted a baby shower for my long time best friend Julie Fiedel Sackett. I was so excited to have this shower for her. It was an open house and we had lots of fabulous food. Some of Julie's favorites like cream cheese brownies and sugar cookies and lots of other tasty foods. Julie was so spoiled and received a lot of great gifts. Thanks to all of you that come. At Julie's shower I was able to see some of my close friends that I haven't seen in forever it seems. It was so nice to see everyone and talk about what is going on in their life's now. It's amazing how fast life goes by. I have truly been blessed with wonderful amazing friends. These days its hard to find good friends and I'm very lucky to have more than one. Lots of them I met years and years ago. Julie is probably one of my oldest long time friends. We met when we were in Sunbeams together. We lived about a block from each other and would always meet at the Osborn's house, which was half way between our houses. We had such a fun childhood with our crazy imaginations. We have been through alot together from divorce to hair school and everything in between. One funny thing about Julie and me is people ALWAYS get us mixed up. I was Julie and she was Jesi, we just learned to answer for both names. I'm not sure if its because both of our names start with the letter J or if its because we both have blonde hair (well for the most part) or because we were always together. Either way I feel so lucky to have her in my life. We email or talk almost everyday and have remained very close after all these years. I'm so excited for her and Grant to have a baby Tag.

Happy Valentines

Valentines is one of my favorites holidays. First, because its getting closer to Spring, and next because its a good excuse to try expensive restaurants and get beautiful flowers, plus its all about you and the one you love. Ster is all about spoiling me and he does such a great job. He always goes above and beyond. This year we stayed at the Hotel Monaco with Heather and Aaron and no not in the same room. We have so much fun with them that at the end of the night I'm so tired. I usually past out on the floor and it doesn't matter where we are. We went to dinner at Olive Garden instead of the expensive restaurant at the hotel because I was starving and I couldn't wait for our reservations. We had a very, very eventful night. Anyway I hope everyone has a good Valentines Day.
Theses beauties were waiting for me in our room!
Heather and I in our animal print robes!
Ster striking a pose. What a dork!

This looks like I'm going to eat Ster.

Vegas!

Vegas and I have such a love hate relationship. I love going to Vegas and seeing all the lights and going out. But I HATE, I mean really HATE watching my husband lose money. Now I shouldn't say he always loses but I always seem to remember the times he loses more than the times he wins! This trip was so fun because Ster and I usually go by ourselves and go to a concert (we been to George Strait, Tim Mcgraw, Faith Hill, Etc.) but this time our wonderful friends Heather and Aaron invited us to go. I think they invited us secretly thinking we wouldn't come because yes, sometimes we do dog out. But I decided after all the drama going on at the salon I really needed a break from this crappy weather and the salon. We left for a short weekend trip to Vegas. We got a great deal on our flights and hotel. We stayed at the Encore which is the newest addition to the Wynn. It was AMAZING!!
Ster unpacking our bags. Only one bag for the two of us. Delta charges $15 per bag!! :(
Pictures of our room! Everything was so new. It even smelled new.
The weekend we went was Mr. Wynn's Birthday. We saw Donald Trump hanging out here.
Ster waking up after a long, I mean LONG night!!
This is the sign outside our hotel. This is looking out our window.
The first night Heather and I TRIED to be sexy and wore some HOT HEELS. Hot is right, before it was too late we were running around the mall in Planet Hollywood looking for flip flops. The next day we could hardly walk. So we went and bought Heather some cute new shoes.
I wore my Uggs for the remainder of the trip. Who cares about being sexy??!!
Ster and I, oh and Aaron talking on his phone.
Heather and I with our beads we caught.

We had a blast with Heather and Aaron. We are so lucky to have such fun friends to travel with. Heather and Aaron thanks for a great trip! Cant wait for the next one.
